Jurnal Veterinar Malaysia (JVM) is the official journal of the Veterinary Association Malaysia (VAM). It was published formally as Kajian Veterinar and the Malaysian Veterinary Journal. JVM has progressed from being an internal publication to being recognised as a national veterinary medical and scientific journal. JVM is a peer-reviewed, printed and open-access online journal (electronic), published 2 times a year. It contains articles on veterinary medicine, animal science and research. Articles are published in English. The primary purpose of this journal is act as a channel for the publication of research work from any research institution of veterinary field related.

Aim and Scope:
Researcher papers on various aspects of veterinary medicine, animal science and research are invited for publication either as full articles or short communication. Review papers and abstracts of articles of local interest are also published from time to time. Offers of reviews and topics for consideration should be directed to the editors, via the editorial office, for initial editorial approval. All submission (including commissioned reviews and letters) are subject to peer review by the editors and selected referees. The publisher (VAM) does not hold itself responsible for statements made in the journal by contributors. Unless so stated, materials in the Journal do not reflect an endorsement or an official attitude of VAM or the Editorial Board of JVM.
